How to make Healthy Rasam Powder at Home | Quick Use

Rasam Powder, is a traditional South Indian Spice mix which boosts the Immune System. 🌿🌟

Ingredients:

Whole pepper (kali Mirch) - 50 g

Cumin seeds (Jeera) - 50 g

Coriander seeds (dhania) - 75 g

Red chilli (Lal Mirch) - 15 chillies

Hing - (Asafoetida) - 1 tsp

Preparation Method:

Note:- Use less spice in powder making; you can add more spice by adding chilli/pepper while making rasam.

In a Kadai, dry fry each ingredient separately, one after the other, and collect on a plate.

That's it. Your "Rasam powder" is ready.

Rasam is essential as it provides our body with vitamins, iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, etc. Lots to mention, but the main benefits of consuming a glass of hot rasam will help in:

15 red chillies.

Once fried nicely, spread all ingredients on a plate and leave it to cool.

Then grind in a mixer to a fine powder.

After grinding, add 1 tsp of Hing and mix well.

Once the powder cools, transfer the same to a dry airtight container. Press the powder with a spoon from the top.

Close the lid well and store it at room temperature.

Note:- You can use this powder to make different varieties of rasam with it. Like pepper rasam, tomato rasam, pudina rasam, Tur Dal rasam, coriander rasam, lemon rasam, moong dal rasam, tamarind rasam, etc.
