Mushroom Pepper Fry is a bold and flavourful South Indian starter made with fresh mushrooms, crushed pepper, curry leaves, and aromatic spices. This peppery dish turns simple mushrooms into a spicy delight thatβs perfect for spice lovers πΆοΈ.

Ingredients
Mushroom β 300 g
Pepper β 1 tbsp
Cumin Seeds (Jeera) β Β½ tsp
Fennel Seeds (Badishep / Sombu) β Β½ tsp
Ghee (Clarified Butter) β 2 tbsp
Mustard Seeds β Β½ tsp
Ginger (chopped) β 1Β½ tbsp
Onion (chopped) β 3
Curry Leaves β 3 bunches
Capsicum (diced) β 1
Salt β as per taste
Water β ΒΌ glass
Preparation Method
In a mixer jar, add 1 tablespoon pepper, Β½ teaspoon jeera, and Β½ teaspoon fennel seeds (badishep / sombu).
Close the lid and grind into a fine powder.
Once ground, transfer the pepper powder to a bowl, close with a lid, and keep aside.
